Using WebUI Studio 2009 in Windows x64 and IIS 7
Hi all,
If you’re using Windowx x64 edition for development, you may have noticed an issue while using WebUI Studio 2009 in IIS 7 mode. The issue is due to the registry not being added correctly since the installer is running in 32-bit mode.
We have created a tool to solve this issue which you can download here. Simply run this tool in your x64 bit machine to fix the registry problem.

Does this need to be run on the production servers as well? I never had to run any setup on the production servers before, just distribute the Intersoft DLL’s with my web site.
Hi Chris, actually the tool only for development machine, you dont need to install it in your production server.
So where is the tool, I have this very problem.

I don’t know what to expect, when I press the “Fix Intersoft Registry” button, but nothing happens at all and the problem is still same – when I open an .aspx page in the designer mode, it displays the dialog with the message that I am using the trial version. The only visible effect was that it extended the trial period by a month (but I don’t need it, have a licence).
Any ideas?

This happens in Vista x64 too. I wonder if they would offer instruction on how to make those registry changes manually if the tool does not work!
