Greetings everyone! It’s been a while since the last time I wrote a blog Just in case if you haven’t heard this excited news from our newsletter or any advertisement that we may post earlier… Earlier this month, we have just release .NET QuarX!

For the last few months, we and Nevron has been discussing about our cooperation to bring a complete suite of Web and Winform components. As you know, we focused on Web components and did not have any interest to develop Winform components. However, some of our customers might require Winform components. Because of this, they might end up purchasing other Suite – in addition to our Suite. And that means double costs/expenses.

With a goal in mind to give the complete Win and Web components to both of our customer, we decide to have a joint suite – named .NET QuarX which contains Intersoft’s WebUI Studio.NET 2007 R1 and Nevron’s .NET Vision 2006 Q4.

Next Question in your mind should be, why QuarX as the name? Quarks in physics is one of the most basic forms of matter that make up the heavier elementary particles, by having this name we hope that .NET Quarks will help the developers built any type of .NET application from the most basic to the most important matter in their project/application.

We definitely put our hope on .NET QuarX and I do believe that it kind of a big step for us and Nevron which will result a great benefit for our customers.

How about for those of you who has purchased one of our products? No need to worry! If you are Intersoft’s existing customer, you can get Nevron’s .NET Vision 2006 Q4 with 30% discount. The discount will also valid for Nevron’s existing customer who would like to purchase Intersoft’s WebUI Studio.NET 2007 R1.

We are willing to hear your feedback regarding .NET QuarX release, please post your comments!

Regards,
Merina

Greetings all

After the hectic period of 2007 R1 release, we can finally take a little bit of rest and enjoy the result. As someone who work in the sales department, I really do pleased with what our development team has achieved and we can see that our customers have to agree with us from their feedback

And finally.. as the reward of hard working period, we actually will go on a team vacation to refresh our mind and be prepared for R2. I believe the management has compiled a list of exciting stuff to go with R2, so for our beloved exsisting customer, don’t forget to read what will come next in the Product RoadMap.

It is 3 days vacation from 26th – 28th of March to ‘Pulau Ayer’ (translated: Ayer Island). Check this out:

Located only 15 – 20 minutes from Marina Ancol, Jakarta, Pulau Ayer has been known as the best, cleanest, the most exclusive island, and also as the brightest of the thousand islands.

In ancient times, this island (Pulau Ayer) was the private recreation retreat of the former kings of the thousand island. It was also used by the first President of the Republic of Indonesia as his private vacationland many years ago.

When you have been busy making a living and forgotten how to enjoy live, go and seek out a cottage at Pulau Ayer, and it will all come back to you. While you stay in anyone of the 45 cottages you will be living in a totally different atmosphere from the busy lifestyle from the city, cause there is no air pollution, no such thing as traffic jam, you will only find peacefulness.
Â
Especially if you stay in the floating cottages that have been uniquely designed and built 3 meters above sea level, and they all have a glorious view of the ocean. There is also a traditional masseuse available to help you lose the muscle tension and soothe away your cares.

I actually take the above description of Pulau Ayer from their website. You can visit their website here —Â http://www.pulauayer.com/. Interesting ? Take a vacation to Indonesia!

To close this posting, I would like to let you know that most of the support team members will be going with us and therefore we would like to apologize if you experience any delay in the reply. Our office will be fully functional on Thursday, 29th of March.

Best Regards,
Merina

We apologized for the delayed products delivery due to the unexpected flood disaster that attacked Jakarta since Feb 1st, 2007. The disaster did not affect our main office and server — however it significantly affected our on-site operations. Most of the team members were unable to come to office because no transportation is feasible due to the terrific high flood. To see the Jakarta’s disaster in highlight, visit http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/asiapcf/02/04/indonesia.floods.sun.ap/index.htmlÂ

Despite of this extreme condition, as our strong commitment to serve our customers, we will still be ready to perform basic support operations remotely.

The products delivery for subscribers is also planned to be resumed today.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for understanding.

Best Regards,
Jimmy.

It’s hard to believe that 2007 is only 24 hours away. Before we talk about our plan for 2007, let’s take a brief look back to 2006 and see where we are standing in 2006.

Before 2006, we only have 3 components in our collection. They are WebGrid.NET Enterprise 4.0, WebCombo.NET 3.0 and WebInput.NET 2.0.

On January 2006, we introduced a new breakthrough in web user interface by releasing WebDesktop.NET 1.0, a collection of 11 user interface components. We also introduced Suite and Subscription licensing model at the same time. On July 2006, we released WebUI Studio.NET 2006 R2 which adds 3 more user interface components to our collection. At the same time, we also released Developer Network 2.0 for our registered customers as a great added-value to our service and support.

By the end of 2006, we already have 17 components in total. Surely 2006 is a great year for all of us, which is also the busiest compared to previous years along our way to make great products and improvements toward customer’s feedbacks.

For 2007, we definitely have more interesting and exciting stuff for you. I will submit another post for our 2007 plan and look out for our “2007 Initiative Platform”.

On behalf of the company, I want to thank you all for trusting and supporting our products. Also to all divisions who have spend countless hours and tons of overtime to make such great products!

Happy holidays and have a great New Year’s celebration! We look forward to work with you for a better web solution in 2007!

All the best,Â

Jimmy.
